Simply unplug the wire going into your 3rd brake light, plug that wire into the joining connector on the module and then plug the other connector of the module back into the 3rd brake light. That's it!
Module is pre-programmed with a 10 pulse F1 flash and Dynamic Braking.
With Dynamic braking, F1 will flash upon hitting the brakes. If the brakes are reapplied within 10 seconds, the brake will not flash F1, it will come on solid. This is designed to keep the driver behind you from getting annoyed in stop and go traffic. After 10 seconds of no braking, the module will reset and resume the F1 flash pattern upon hitting the brakes.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS MODULE WILL ONLY WORK WITH STOCK/STANDARD 3RD BRAKE LIGHTS. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH OUR CUSTOM SEQUENTIAL 3RD BRAKE LIGHTS. IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE F1 BRAKE PATTERN ON ANY OF OUR SEQUENTIAL 3RD BRAKE LIGHTS, SIMPLY CHOOSE F1 AS YOUR BRAKE PATTERN.
